Call for Short Stories
Kuhiro Class Teacher's Journal invites short stories to its journal. All selected short stories will be presented to to Kuhiro Class Teacher's Journal. Two selected stories will invite their authors to join us at
Ghandruk with Professor Pariat for our expedition: "Short Stories in Ghandruk: A Creative Writing Excursion".

While trekking, your narrator finds a small object lying on the ground — something unexpected, out of time, or strangely personal.
Write the story (700-1000 words)
of how this object came to be there, and how it changes the narrator by the end.
EVALUATION CRITERIA
1. Originality & Imagination
Assesses the freshness of the idea, inventive choices, and avoidance of cliché.
2. Craft: Language & Voice
Evaluates clarity, vividness, precision, and a sense of emerging voice.
3. Narrative Shape & Character
Looks at structure, pacing, and the emotional depth or presence of characters.
4. Engagement with Place
This measures how meaningfully the writer evokes landscape, movement, or sensory experience.
