Prof. Bittu Kaveri Rajaraman | Careers in Psychology

Head of Department of Psychology | Ashoka University

Bittu Kaveri Rajaraman is an Associate Professor of Biology and Psychology, and is the current Head of the Psychology Department at Ashoka University.Their lecture on the 14th of February, 2023 focused on on the evolution of neural and behavioural systems of communication, the neuroethology of temporal pattern recognition in insects, and quantitative and economic cognition more broadly in zebrafish, dogs and humans.

Sharon Gurung | Careers in Consulting

Sharon holds a double degree in Environmental Engineering and Political Science and currently works as an analyst in one of the world’s top consulting firms. In her talk with our students on the 30th of December, Sharon shared her experience with doing a double major in the US, her journey towards becoming a consultant and of movies cities.

Bidit Bhattarai | Careers in Medicine

Bidit Bhattarai an alumni of Harvard Medical School and Youtuber Surendra Thapalia met on the 26th of January to discuss studying medicine in the US as a foreign student and Bidit’s journey to Harvard Medical School.

Cancer Research | Ritika Nara

Ritika Nara is a PhD researcher in cancer sciences at the University of Glasgow. The Cancer Research UK Scotland Centre funded her doctoral research on pancreatic cancer. Before moving on to a PhD, Nara completed her Master’s in Cancer at University College London.

Larisa Shrestha, who received the United States Opportunity Funds program to study Neuroscience at Harvard University joined us for a session on the 4th of February on writing the perfect SOP and scholarship essay, and her move to the US.

Astha Wagle | London School of Economics

Last week Astha "hacked" our instagram account to show us around the city of London and snuck us into her student sessions at the London School of Economics. Astha Wagle is currently pursuing a Masters in Environmental Economics at the London School of Economics. She completed her bachelor degree and a diploma in advanced studies and research from Ashoka University. She has also held the role of a Staff Research Associate at the Confederation of Nepalese Industries where she conducted research on Nepal's trade and investment environments.
