Ritika Nara is a PhD researcher in cancer sciences at the University of Glasgow who 'hacked' our Instagram account last week. The Cancer Research UK Scotland Centre funded her doctoral research on pancreatic cancer. Before moving on to a PhD, Nara completed her Master’s in Cancer at University College London and Bachelor’s in Science at Ashoka University in India. In her free time, Nara enjoys poetry, football, reruns of her favourite tv shows, and long walks by the river Kelvin in Glasgow. Larisa is a senior at Harvard studying neuroscience, with interests at the intersection of neuroscience, psychology, and education. She currently conducts research at the Valera Lab within Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. Before coming to the US for college, Larisa spent two years traveling within Nepal teaching and performing spoken word poetry. These formative years of her life heavily influenced her interest in teaching.
